First off, I'd like to say that Rocket is nothing short of an amazing gameplay experience. With lush enviornments, beuatiful textures, and just all around fun, this is an amazing first attempt by the talented people of Sucker Punch!

    Features
  • 3 save files on N64 Game Pak
  • Awesome physics engine! Incredibly realistic
  • One of the most unique game experiences of '99
  • Lots o' replay value

    Gameplay
The controls in this game are very intuitive. There are tons of awesome gameplay experiences such as a roller coaster you build and ride, a level where you paint things with a special paint mobile, mind-bending, well thought-out puzzles, and 8 different vehicles! Which brings me to my next point of discussion, the physics engine. This is truly amazing. This is what the game has been praised for, and you'll see why. This is so cool! You put an object at the top of a hill, it rolls down. Your'e driving a vehicle over sand dunes, and if you don't get enough speed, you won't make it through a ring above the dune. Awesome. A ten in this area.
    10/10

    Graphics
The graphics to this game are right on par with BK, and that wasn't Rare's first attempt at making a game! These graphics definately rule, and the game being a first try, that gets this category an even bigger 9.3
    9.3/10

    Sound
This is the one little downpoint of this otherwise great game. The music is kinda repetitive, and not of very good quality. The sound effects are pretty good too, but nothing too outstanding. 8.5
    8.5/10

    Replay Value
This game can be really tough, and you'll wanna keep coming back for more awesome puzzles! Although it can sometimes get frusterating, it's all in all a good difficulty. The boss stage is really hard, too!
    9.5/10

    Overall
Overall, this game simply rocks the cazbah, great graphics, an amazing physics engine, tons of puzzles, tons of vehicles, and tons of fun. The upgrades you can get are awesome too. This game is definately up there with PD, EB, and HM64! My advice to you: If you haven't already, get out there and BUY THIS GAME! Right now! Don't even read this! Augh! You read it, didn't you. Haven't you any shame?

    FINAL SCORE: 9.3/10
