Controller
Behold! The GCN controller. All the history of Nintendo's long line of great controllers are packed into here. The X and Y buttons are back from the SNES, the L and R shoulders are reincarnated as analog triggers, and the N64's C buttons morph into 1 analog stick for complete camera control. There's even built-in rumble. Also outrageous is the new "ABXY" format with A in the middle; super, super cool. A smooth and comfortable ride's in-store for all players of the GCN.
RETAIL: $25

Wavebird Controller
All the functionality of the GCN controller in wireless form. No, it's not like a remote control where you have to aim it just right or lift it high above pillows to get it to respond. You just plug a reciever into one of the GC controller ports, set the station on your Wavebird, and you can play up to 40 or so feet away from the system, and you don't even have to be facing it with your hands. Rad. This baby has set the standard by which all future wireless controllers are based, and that means a lot in the wireless console race.
RETAIL: $35

Donkey Konga Drums
This odd peripheral is used for both Nintendo's first foray into the musical gaming genre, Donkey Konga, and its platformer hybrid cousin, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Each game can be bought solo or packaged with one Konga controller, and Kongas are sold by themselves as well. The peripheral is fit with two touch-sensitive pads and a small microphone to pick up the sound of your clapping (but snapping will work too, if you play at night).
